2x4 maple panel.  This work captures a high day of anxiety.  The maple panel took all the stress I could throw at it which is why I work on wood.  Many layers of stains and paints stripped away with a sander and then reapplied for more effect.  I hope you can see the scaring in the upper corners.  The colors soak into the cuts and scratches to create interesting details when you look close.
